Why are girls trying their best to look young?

It seems like a trend now. Girls try their best to look cute and young. I think it’s disgusting when some men find this trend attractive. I know you might not find this important, but whatever happened to young women trying to be a sexy goddess, like Megan Fox. Instead, they try their best to look like those under-aged looking Asian Popstars.

Dude you just described Jennifer Aniston, ew. I agree though man, that "cutesy look" is stupid

    A lot of people agree with what you’re trying to say. I find it irritating as well. I do my best to look like a mature woman. I’m only 19 and it grabs a lot of attention (coming from a hooters girl) the main reason is in your question. ATTENTION. Girls want their best reputation which includes innocence. Looking young is looking pure. Once a girl becomes a woman the youth has faded in the worlds eyes and they aren’t as innocent. All in all it does relate to insecurity. It takes confidence and independence to be a true woman and many girls aren’t ready to own up to such a reputation and adjustment to human nature. Good luck and best wishes.

    I think that uneducated people that believe the world started a decade ago are disgusting. Females in almost every culture, dating back to the start of primitive civilization, have always tried to look young and attractive. Males have also done the same, but staying strong basically does that for males, while it is harder for females to look young. Hardly any of the modern "attractive" women would be acceptable if they didn’t try at all, just as the caricature of a fat man in a stained undershirt would not be attractive.
